Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources – mission is to expand access to education by promoting awareness and adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER).  Over 100 colleges are members of our consortium and many more participate in our activities and use the resources posted here. 

International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) –  The International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) is the leading global membership organization for open, distance,  flexible and online education, including e-learning, and draws its membership from institutions, educational authorities, commercial actors, and individuals.

Japan Opencourseware Consortium (JOCW)(JP) – official site: history, members, events This is a consortium of Japanese universities which provide OCW contents and activities in Japan.

 

Open Course Library – A collection of high quality, free-to-use courses that you can download and use for teaching. All content is stored in Google docs making it easy to access, browse and download. Managed by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. 

School of Open  –  Learn the open practices at this site. “Courses are powered by mentors and learners like you. Whether you are an individual volunteer or organizational representative, we invite you to create a course, run a workshop, or start a training program in your region. The School of Open is coordinated by P2PU and Creative Commons, a globally focused nonprofit dedicated to making it easier for people to share and build upon the work of others, consistent with the rules of copyright.”
